AI assistant user numbers
Usage figures stated by the companies themselves, in earnings calls, keynotes and official posts, rather than third-party traffic estimates. Each figure is dated, since these numbers move every quarter.

About this dataset
What it covers
Usage figures for AI assistants and AI search features, as stated by the companies that run them: weekly and monthly active users, queries, subscribers and paid seats.
How it was built
Figures come from earnings calls, keynotes, official blog posts and executive statements. Third-party traffic estimates are deliberately excluded. Where an official figure was only found in secondary reporting, the linked source is that report.
Limitations
Companies choose which metric to disclose, so figures aren't comparable across products: weekly users are always fewer than monthly users for the same product, and some figures count reach rather than active use.

How to cite this data
This dataset is free to use, including commercially, under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The one rule is attribution:
- Credit the source as “Kuldeep Paul, kuldeep.cc” wherever you use a figure, chart or table from it.
- Link to this page (https://kuldeep.cc/data/ai-search/user-numbers), not to the download file, so readers can check the source of every number.
- Include the date. These figures change; say “as of Oct 29, 2026” or link to the version you used.
- Mark changes. If you filter, recalculate or chart the data yourself, say so (“analysis based on data from…”).
- Cite the original source for single figures when you quote one reported number; it is linked in every row.
